Baku Seaside Boulevard - What to enjoy there?

Baku Boulevard it is a real gem of the city and it is established in 1909. The Boulevard starting from Aquatics center and extending till Baku Boulevard Hotel. It is approximately 8 km and the government planning to extend it till 26 km. 

Baku Boulevard it is the main place where locals and the guests of our city can enjoy with the walking on the seaside, having a boat tour with the great view to the Baku Bay, using entertainment attractions, having a nice dinner on the restaurants or to rent a boat for making dinner in the middle of the sea and etc.

The best activity in the Baku Boulevard it is having a boat tour which lasts about 30 minutes. If it is not windy then be aware that the boats are operating. Standard tickets costs about 2 manat. But VIP tickets costs 10 manat. I recommend to use VIP tickets. Why? Because there will be big queue for standard tickets and on the first floor of boat will be lots of people. So your chance to have a great place to see the view will be low. But with VIP tickets you can enjoy on the second floor, even you can order tea, coffee or sandviches. 

Little Venice

The small town with the name "Little Venice" in Baku Boulevard was built in 1960 and till 2012 it was expanded t0 10.000 square metres. There are about 7 gondolas which are travelling in the canal with the beautiful stone bridges. It will be grateful to have gondola trip and to see around, then you can have a lunch or dinner in the local cuisine restaurant which is operating in "Little Venice" town. 

Carpet Museum

The history of carpet in Azerbaijan is very ancient. Carpet Museum is one of the main destination to see. The museum itself looks like a rolled carpet. To the collection of museum includes 14,000 collections of carpets and other art sculptures. There are are carpets, exquisite jewelry, clothing, embroidery, delicate glass pieces, wood, felt and more. The museum consist of 3 floors. First floor showing the development of Azerbaijani carpets and it is role in our tradition, second floor showing the carpets from different regions of Azerbaijan and third floor is contemporary stage.

Rent a bicycle

In the New Boulevard side which is near Devil Eye you can have a rent a bicycles for an hour or more and get enjoyable time with riding on the boulevard. 

Baku Eye

Baku Eye, also known as Baku Ferris Wheel or Devil Eye located in the Seaside of National Boulevard of Baku. The wheel has 60 cabins and the height of total wheel is 60 metres. Each cabin holding 8 people. For completing one turn it needs about 15-20 minutes.

Usually there is no queue and be aware that it does not operate during bad weather conditions.

You will get pleasure with the view of Caspian Sea and the city.

Park Bulvar

Park Bulvar is located in Baku Boulevard and containing middle level of European brands in the building. There are also entertainment and cafe&restaurant floor. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the Governmental House. There are 99 stores, movie theatre, supermarket in this mall.
