A big thankyou to Azerbaijanguide.az for making our 10 day Azerbaijan tour a memorable, comfortable and smooth experience. Artunj planned a very well customized tour that included all that we wanted to experience. Farhad our driver and guide did his best to ensure we had a smooth tour and ensured we did not miss out on anything. When it came to tours to places like Khinaliq and Laza village that may involve icy roads both Artunj and Farhad made sure to arrange for local drivers who knew the roads well. A very special thankyou to Artunj for adding Laza village in our tour, we were totally mesmerized by the village and the drive to it. All in all we had a wonderful time in Azerbaijan felt very safe throughout all thanks to Artunj and Farhad.

We booked 03 days tour with Azerbaijanguide.az that include AIRPORT TRANSFERS and BAKU + SHAMAKHI AND LAHIJ TOUR and A DAY TRIP TO QOBUSTAN + MUD VULCANO + ATESHGAH + YANARDAG FIRE MOUNTAIN. Tour manager Artunj was very quick in answering to all and very pleasant to work with. Our tour guide and driver for the entire trip was Farhad. He was pleasant, easy-going man. He was waiting for us at the airport, with him we travelled through the mountains toward Shamakhi and Lahij, discover Qobustan shared Azerbaijani food (SAJJ) in Lahij . He gave us all the necessary information about every landmark we visited. Thank you so much for making our trip to Azerbaijan smooth and beautiful! Highly recommended to everyone who wants to discover Azerbaijan!

I took a 3 day tour of Azeebaijan including Baku tour, Gobustan , Fire Temple and Yanardaag & Shamakhi organised by Artinauj and delievered by his driver and tour guide Farhad. This tour took place in March 2022. Right from the time I was picked up from airport, to the tours, food on tour, any other advice etc to the drop back to the airport this company was exceptional. I would rate them very highly for delivering high satisfaction on their tours. Artinauj was very responsive and easy to deal with and Farhad was an amazing tour guide who was always flexible and easy going.

We had an 8 day customised tour organised by Azerbaijanguide.az. From the first email reply I received everything was handled very well in a professional manner. Itinerary was designed according to what we wanted to see and do and we had a brilliant time. Our driver and guide, Farhad, was with us all week and was very accomodating. Artunj made sure our tour went without a hitch and was on hand via phone or WhatsApp whenever we needed to contact him. All in all we had an amazing time exploring (being shown) Azerbaijan and would highly recommend Artunj and his company if you decide to visit this interesting country.

My family of four had a great time on this tour. Farhad was our guide and driver for the day. He was knowledgeable about the sites, careful when driving, and attentative to our needs. The sites alone are unique experiences on their own, and our guide made the day even better. Finally, the tour included a late buffet lunch, which was simply amazing. We didn't know what to expect as vegetarians but there were plenty of tasty options for both adults and children.

Farhad, a university-trained interpreter, took me on a most fascinating trip to these places. Imagine a volcano bubbling up cold mud. We saw a dozen in one location. Imagine a rocky outcrop on a hill perpetually on fire. We saw it. Imagine a landscape of gigantic boulders where literal cave men lived and inscribed petroglyphs 15 thousand years ago. Farhad showed me where they drove big game over the cliff so the stunned animals could be slaughtered below by these cave hunters. I have seen artist renderings of this in school. Now I could do see an actual location where it was done and why it was successful. Not least is the fire temple, one fed by gas naturally below but now from artificial means, as part of Zoroastrian rituals. There is a real reason the country is called Azerbaijan, land of fire. This is the trip to experience what forged this energy-rich country.

You should take this tour because once you took it you can already scratch off your list the key MUST SEEs outside of Baku. The sites are great, the lunch was delicious, and the ride confortable. However, the only 2 things i didnt like was 1) my guide had an attitude like he really didnt want to be there. I think it was because he was sick though. He wasnt disrespectful, but he was very cold. 2) we had to take a special car to go the mud volcanoes and the driver offered me to drive it on our way back. So i did because it was a vintage soviet car but it turned out that he wanted money after that. I would have appreciated that my guide had warned me that before i accepted to drive it. Overall great tour. Take it!!!

We discovered perchance this tour operator in the network. After a first contact to understand our wishes, the manager Artunj was able to organize a tailor made trip according our interests and, best of the best, with a guide (Diana) speaking a fluent Italian language. The selected hotels and restaurants were absolutely in line with our requests. The hotels were selected from a list and reserved for us. Only a small account has been done. The restaurants selected were "original Azerbaijan type", absolutely not expansive and normally frequented from local people. We received assistance to select the various type of dishes. The cars used for the tour were new models, equipped with air conditioning. Change of the car has been performed in order to reach "extreme site" located on the top of the mountains, off the roads. Assistance were present in all moments of the tour. The pick up from/to the airport were perfect, coordinated by a continuous contact via whapp. Along the trip, the route has been modified according our requests, in order to visit the maximum number of monuments/attractions, without extra costs. In 7 days, we visited the Azerbaijan starting from the north (Quba), the south (Gobustan), the east (Baku and Abseron peninsula) and the west (Sheki, Zaqala and Ganja). All type of stop for pictures or visits were possible upon request. Absolutely suggested to the people asking a complete panorama of the Azerbaijan. The Company propose solution for all availability levels, surely cheaper than the European proposals.

We were so lucky to discover Azerbaijan with Azerbaijanguide.az... I loved from the beginning how the booking process went with Artunj. Very quick in answering to all my questions and very pleasant to work with. We booked with Azerbaijanguide.az 2 AIRPORT TRANSFERS and 2 full day tours: SHAMAKHI AND LAHIJ TOUR and A DAY TRIP TO QOBUSTAN + MUD VULCANO + ATESHGAH + YANARDAG... Our tour guide for the entire trip was Farhad. What an amazing young man! Was a pleasure to be with Farhad and let him show us Azerbaijan through his eyes and heart. He was waiting for us at the airport, with him we travelled through the mountains toward Shamakhi and Lahij, with Farhad we discoved Qobustan plus surroundings and with the same friend Farhad we shared some amazing traditional Azerbaijani food in Lahij and near Ateshgah. Farhad was such a cautions driver at the same time making us feel very safe, especially having 2 children with us. He gave us all the necessary information about every landmark we visited and had lots of patience and calmness in his personality which made us feel great. We never felt rushed or not informed appropriately. When I'm thinking of Azerbaijan, I always remember Farhad and Azerbaijanguide.az... Thank you so much for making our trip to Azerbaijan smooth and beautiful! Highly recommended to everyone who wants to discover Azerbaijan!

I really liked the museum before you enter the area of the paintings. The volcanos were a bit difficult to find. Make sure you head to the big one as well, were you can swim as well.

You stand there and see your ancestors from tens of thousand of years ago lived and send some messages through the walls of their homes. It is amazing place with great history and view. Loved it, we enjoyed every minute of it and wanted to stay more because there are different drawings and shapes on each visible wall of rocks. Really exciting place.

I would like to recommend AZERBAIJANGUIDE.AZ as a very sharp and professional outfit, a tour company and Airport pickup team who really want yo serve you rather than bombard you with constant tours to do whilst staying in Az. Firstly they picked us up at the airport (3 of us) and kindly greeted us, welcomed us to the country and listened to what our interest were. The car was clean and spacious and the communication was excellent. Arjat was our driver and he never did any hard sell on us at any time. The delivery to our hotel was excellent and he then promptly arranged pickup 6 days later - with his colleague Fahrrad, He drove us at a dreadful hour -4:30 am and when we artived he loaded up all our bags and wheeled them into the airport for us !! This was impressive! Thankyou guys- a young team who just made such a great impression on us and added to the ennjoyment of being in BAKU—amazing place!

Besides the shiny glitz and glam of Baku, and the other older side (not the old city) but the older suburban areas of Baku this trip feels like an escape from the concrete jungle we all live in today. Our really appreciated our tour guide today, he was genuine and nice. The only thing I got irritated about was the fact that our other driver, who took us to the mud volcanoes, asked us to pay 10 manat because he offered us to put the volcanic mud in a bottle for us to take. I should've guessed this was coming as anywhere in Baku, if anything is offered, trust that it will be charged. Besides that we had an amazing day at Gobustan, I loved the museum, it is worth going there as it reveals a lot about the culture and history of petroglyphs. Also, the atesgah and the guide there was amazing. We stopped for some amazing buffet for just 10 manat, before the ateshgah and it was yummy azerbaijani food. I am vegan and yet I could find many options. Yanar dag was another beautiful experience, never seen anything like that. It was a good tour, good driver, very polite, comfortable drive and car. I recommend this tour.

I am very happy to write about my trip and tour with this company.Fristly the main important point is on time appointment, for 3 days I never marked any delay. Secondly, the tour guides were very corporative and helpful. Thank you very much for you, keep your head up with this level of services. I am highly recommend this company.

Most highly recommended. I have done food tours all over the world. They are all a bit different and this one is outstanding! What I look for: an experience that tells some kind of story about wherever I am visiting through the lens of food culture. The food on this excursion is phenomenal, the guide is personable and knowledgeable, the cultural context is spot on. Please make your reservations at the beginning of your trip so that you can revisit your favorite places. (& This is a must for every food tour.) Also, always ask what souvenirs should cost as you pass by to make you more knowledgeable when you return to shop. Lastly, Baku is such a lovely travel destination. Safe, friendly, and well worth it. Baku is a hidden gem and this food tour is a graceful introduction. I wish there were more than 5 stars to describe my satisfaction.

We went with a private driver to the above places. It was not terribly expensive and he spoke good English. The Qobustan museum was most interesting and the petroglyphs were cool. The mud was very unusual and the Fire Temple and mountain was a bit of a let down. We arrived at sunset so that we could see the fire at it's best but it was a bit of an anticlimax.

My sister and I chose what we wanted to visit (and booked our Sheki hotel) and Nijat organised the route, car and driver (his friend Archie). The whole experience was amazing. Both guide and driver were kind, friendly and easy to talk to and listen to, and very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. They were always helpful and took good care of us. We went on several rough roads but always felt safe with Archie's driving, and the car was ideal, with good visibility even in the back. We managed to reach all the points of interest that we had planned - and hoped - to get to, too numerous to list here. We visited Maraza, Shamakhi and Lahij on the way to Sheki, spent the next day walking round Sheki and Kish (only 8kms away), and visited Nij and Gabala (including its nearby skiing area and waterfalls) on our way back to Baku on Day 3. Many fascinating experiences, difficult to select the best but probably Lahij and the day in Sheki stand out. Nijat's guiding and Archie's driving helped to make our time in Azerbaijan fantastic. Thank you!

I was lucky to take the tour with Artunj, gentle man, generous, very helpful, patient, and he knows actually where to go and what must be seen. Great day out of Baku exploring the sights. Relaxed, easy going guide and driver made this a thoroughly enjoyable day out. Driving out beyond Baku gives you a real insight into the landscape and history- the drive along the Caspian see, seeing all the active oil rigs is quite unexpected. The highlight for us was changing vehicles and hopping into a Soviet-era Lada for the off-road drive to the mud volcanoes - this should be highlighted as one of the attractions of this trip. Highly recommended
