Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum

The Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum is a historic burial complex located near the city of Shamakhi. The name “Yeddi Gumbez,” meaning “Seven Domes,” refers to a group of mausoleums built for the rulers of the Shirvan Khanate. Dating back to the 18th–19th centuries, the site reflects the architectural and cultural heritage of the region. Today, it stands as a peaceful and atmospheric location offering insight into Azerbaijan’s history.
