Maiden Tower

The Maiden Tower is one of the most famous historical monuments in Azerbaijan, located in the heart of the Icherisheher. Dating back to the 12th century, the tower is surrounded by legends and mysteries about its original purpose. Today, it operates as a museum showcasing the history of Baku and offering panoramic views from the top. It is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic complex of Baku.
