Momine Khatun

The Momine Khatun Mausoleum is one of the most important architectural monuments in Nakhchivan. Built in the 12th century by the famous architect Ajami Nakhchivani, it is a masterpiece of the Atabeylar architectural school. The мавзoleum is dedicated to Momine Khatun, the wife of Shams ad-Din Eldiguz, a ruler of the Eldiguzid dynasty. Its intricate geometric patterns and towering structure make it a key historical and cultural attraction.
